Why I might benefit from MS Access

I feel that i may benefit from learning MS Access in my daily work schedule because in my line of work i deal with mass quantitys of products, manufactures, customers, insurance companies, and shipping & logistics companies. by learning MS Access and other relatonal database systems it gives me a better understanding of how they work and allows me to think of some possible ways i may improve upon the system my company has in place.
